2017 LPS Lip Sync Battle

This event has been postponed until the 2017-2018 School Year!

You have heard of the Battle for the Paddle.  You have heard of the Crosstown Showdown.  So are you ready for the ULTIMATE competition to see who has what it takes to bring home the biggest prize of all - the highly coveted Magic Mic.    (Editor's note: This is the first year of this competition, but it is a totally highly coveted honor) We should also mention that the winning group will receive a $500 grant for a classroom, building or student group of their choice!

When: 2017-2018 School Year

Where: Liberty High School Field House

Why: To have fun, raise money and celebrate the end of a school year!


Tons of Questions

Who can battle it out?  Any LPS student, teacher and/or staff pair/group can compete!  It can be all students, all teachers, all LPS staff or a mix!

What do you win Besides being totally awesome and unmatched in skills and talents, the winner will receive a real-life trophy AND a $500 grant to support an LPS Classroom, Building or Student Group/Activity.

When and where is this epic battle?  The 2017 LPS All School Lip Sync Battle will be held on Saturday, April 29th, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the Liberty High School Field House.  Everyone should be home by 8:00 p.m.!

How much does this cost? Competitors get in FREE!  Fan club members and supporters must pay $5 at the door to see your stellar performance.

Will there be food? Working on it.

Can I film it? YES - please tag the Liberty School District Foundation. 

Will this be fun?  Duh!  You bet your mic stand this will be fun!!!  And family friendly!

Where does the money raised go?  GREAT question!  First, it will pay for the $500 gift to support a classroom, building or student group.  If there are additional funds raised beyond that, they will go to support the Liberty School District Foundations efforts to elevate educational excellence across the entire school district. Things like the STEAM Bus, classroom grants, H.O.P.E. Awards and more!

  3. Only the first 10 acts registered will perform. If more than 10 registrations are taken, you will be notified and kept as an alternate act.  In the event that multiple entries are received from a single school and there are alternate acts, LSDF reserves the right to choose an alternate act in order to involve more schools.
