Since the first campaign in 1999, the Foundation and Liberty Public Schools have raised over $715,000 through card sales! The Liberty School District Foundation immediately gives half of all funds raised right back to the school buildings and used the other half to support Foundation programming which ultimately supports all of Liberty Public Schools.How to purchase a card:
Liberty School District Foundation raises $65,000 through Major Saver and grants over $30,000 to Liberty Public Schools!
a result of the Major Saver campaign in December of 2015, the Liberty
School District Foundation raised $65,388 and has granted half of those
funds, $32,681, right back to Liberty elementary and middle schools.
The Liberty School District Foundation has leveraged the Major Saver
Campaign since 1999, and has successfully granted out over $355,000 to
LPS from the proceeds.
In an effort to support education in Liberty, the Foundation commits to granting each school half of the proceeds earned at their school; these funds are used to directly benefit Liberty students and support learning in the classroom. Dr. Kyle Palmer, principal of Lewis and Clark Elementary states, these funds “allow them to offer additional and extended opportunities for students to be prepared for the 21st century.” How schools use the funds can vary depending on the need, however, all funds must directly benefit students.
