Create a Classroom: Helping New Elementary Teachers Create their First Classroom
In an effort to enhance the learning environment of the elementary classroom, the LSDF offered new elementary teachers a chance to create a classroom environment that is exciting, educational and functional. In the fall of 2015, new kindergarten teacher at Kellybrook Elementary, Jordan Bush, was awarded a $1,000 grant to purchase the necessary materials to establish her first elementary classroom - creating a functional and creative classroom environment.
